What "big" lesson have you learned from students?

Never take it personal when it seems as if students aren't listening because they really are.

Who is your hero and why?

I honestly do not have one. I am trying to be the hero in my daughter's life.

What one thing do you do to "go the extra mile" for your students?

I give them all the time needed to make sure they leave me at ease and confident with the decisions made.

Be a great listener first before you advise. Design a strategy for each student because no two are the same.

What is the funniest story you have about advising?

I take things too serious to have anything funny to share. I'm usually about the business and the success of my students.
